This is the eat-in to have. Food is always nice. Fresh and a lot of flavour. Always arrives hot and fast. You can call up and ask any questions about new dishes that you would like to try. They will always do there best to explain what it is and what it has in it. The people who work there are super friendly very polite nothing to much for them.

Service and atmosphere were great and location was a little spot near the green. We got the poppadums which were lovely- chutney were interesting but could have had more flavour. We got lamb chops, sheekh kebab and pani puri to start which were good but just needed more flavour and a sauce. We got the butter chicken and lamb korai for mains which were both good- I enjoyed how sweet the butter chicken was. We got garlic naan and rice which were both great accompaniments. We booked through the Fork and our bill was around £35 which is very good value.

We used to go to Green Spice next door and have, in the past few years been going to Taste Of Raj and the owners of both have been the most hospitable and generous people we have ever met and we make sure we come once a week. We are served by Emon mostly and is wonderful. Definitely recommend if you are looking for somewhere nice to eat with a friendly atmosphere :)

We've lived in the area for a year and a half and we've tried at least 6 different curry places trying to find a good one with no luck. Came here for the banqueting night, the food was fantastic and the service was absolutely top tier. They kept our water topped up without us needing to ask, and they were super accommodating. When I asked for the vindaloo extra hot they actually made it as hot as they could! Finally found our new regular spot!

This is our local Indian restaurant, we always order takeaway from here whenever we fancy Indian food. My Fav is Duck tikka. Also when we have special occasions like birthday we go here for a family meal. It's a good atmosphere, quite and good music. Food is Fresh and It doesn't take too long that you starve. Customer Service is Excellent. They will come ask you always if you need anything and is everything okay.

Fantastic night out, with brilliant food and excellent service. Everything was perfect and it is wednesday so it is banquet night (as is Thursdays) which was a very good deal. We were not asked to review but we left so satisfied so thought I must share our experience. We usually get lovely take aways from here and eating in was even better.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at **Taste of Raj**, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for the evening. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, making it the perfect place for both casual dining and special occasions. A standout feature of the evening was our waiter Emon,He was fantastic,friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. His recommendations were spot on.His service truly elevated the entire dining experience. Now, let's talk about the food. **Absolutely amazing!** Every dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented.After we ate our meal we were presented complimentary mint chocolate and drinks. Overall, **Taste of Raj** offers a memorable dining experience with fantastic food and exceptional service. Thanks to Emon for making the night even more enjoyable. I’ll definitely be returning soon!

A potentially bad experience turned great! There was a slight issue with my order after ordering online, but the owner was quick to offer a resolution when I collected my food. A great family run restaurant that has been in service for the community for many years. Thank you Taste of Raj! It is all love!

I Really love this local family run restaurant and have enjoyed fabulous food and service for over 20 years. The food is always freshly cooked, interesting and a consistently high standard with good portion sizes for the hungry. Staff are friendly and helpful.I feel so lucky to have this restaurant so close to my home and with the added bonus of watching the seasons change on Twickenham Green .. over a very good curry.

Absolutely top-notch! Not just for the delectable cuisine, but they went above and beyond to cater to a party of 12 for my brother's 34th birthday today! I live in Manchester and am currently working in London 2 days a week and ordered a takeaway last week which was delivered to the Cabbage Patch pub in Twickenham. I have eaten in nearly all the restaurants in Rusholme Manchester commonly known as the “Curry Mile” and I have never had a better Lamb Jalfezi in any restaurant there which was as good as the one The Taste of Rag delivered last week and the garlic bread and starter were also excellent.
